The Duck is the common name for a large number of species in the Anatidae family of birds, which also includes swans and geese. Domestic Duck, Teal Duck, Whistling, Stifftails, Sea-Ducks, Scoters, Perching Ducks, Eiders, Goldeneyes, Mergansers, "Diving" Ducks, and "Dabblers".

The Most Common Species of duck in Canada are the "Dabbling" Ducks.
